March Scripture Study

Hello and welcome to A.D. now! Anno Domini = “in the year of the Lord”. It’s time for March Scripture Study!!

This last month was hard to pull through spiritually on my side. I went through a lot of trials and tribulations, though by God’s loving grace, and his blessings I was able to pick myself up, dust myself off, and adjust my crown, making it more straight than ever.

This month’s scripture study is going to be based on forgiveness, faith, hope, and love which is also known as charity,(the giving of love).

Before we get started I would like to pray for everyone.

Heavenly Father, thank you for this day,  forgive us of our sins. Cloak us with your comfort. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, your love, hope, faith and light.  Cast out our shadows of darkness, and allow the light you’ve placed within us to shine so bright it may cast out the shadows of others as well. Keep us safe and out of harms way, that your will, not ours be done,  so we may continue to do your work. These things I ask, these things I pray in the name of your son Jesus Christ, Amen.

Often times, with family, friends, even acquaintances, we find ourselves not always in agreement with one another. We may lash out, yell, say things we do not mean.

The best thing we can do in that situation, and it’s going to be the hardest,  it is to forgive ourselves, and we must forgive those that have trespassed against us. This is what God’s Love is. Not just mere words, but rather an action. Choosing to love someone, means choosing to forgive them.  Having faith in them and hoping for the best. Having God in our hearts, and knowing Jesus Christ his son, God in the flesh, died for our sins, and in turn knowing this helps us to strive to be more Christ like on a daily basis. No human is perfect, but we can strive for perfection through Jesus.

Do not be a hypocrite like many of todays Christians, and only forgive whom you think deserves it. It’s not up to you,  it is a command by God to forgive.

Luke 6:37 – Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

1 John 4:18 – There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Colossians 3:13 – Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Ephesians 4:32 – And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 – Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.   (CHARITY IN THE HEART IS LOVE IN ITS PUREST FORM)

Romans 12:9 – Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 12:2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 Corinthians 13:13 – And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Proverbs 17:9 – He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.

Luke 6:35 – But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

I am hoping these scriptures help give strength, hope, charity and faith to someone out there. If at least 1 individual. Know people are praying for you, rooting for you, and love you.

God bless, and make it a great day!

Your Host ~D.
