July Scripture Study

Welcome to A.D. Now, (Anno Domini = “in the year of the Lord”) and our July Scripture Study! We are a Christian based podcast and blog to keep you focused on what matters, which is your soul.

Keeping balance and comfort in our lives can be a hard and tedious task when the daily grind is not slowing down. Life gets real, but we have got to keep God first so we can be taken care of properly, which starts within ourselves.

Prayer without action does NOT work. We have got to put ourselves in a place where God needs us to be and in order to do that, taking care of ourselves first is a must, so we can help, and take care of others. NOT in a self serving egotistical way, but rather, by having self love, nurturing our needs, taking care of our daily hygiene, etc. Basically keeping our house in order, so everything else falls into place.

The scripture we are sharing this month will help keep yourself in perspective and as a priority for God.

And SEASON 2 of our podcast is coming soon, so stay tuned!

Before scripture study, I am going to start us with prayer.

Heavenly Father, thank you for this day, and forgive us of our sins. I ask that you allow these scripture to help those in need, that they may gain comfort in knowing more of you, and of your living water. Keep us safe this day and allow us to continue to do your good work. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Matthew 6:33

– But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Psalms 23:4

– Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalms 91:1-16

– He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Romans 8:26-28

– He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Psalms 119:76

– Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:32-39

– Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

May peace, and comfort be with you all, God bless, in Jesus name.

Your Host,

~ D.
